#Snappchat with Mat Snapp, Hank’s Aperol Spritz

In this edition of #SnappChat, Beverage Director Mat Snapp comes to us from The Henry as he shows us his take on a classic Italian aperitif Cocktail, the Aperol Spritz. The history, the backstory, the technique – you’ll find it all on #SnappChat.
Recipe:
Splash of lemon juice
Splash of simple syrup
.5 ounce of Vodka
1 ounce of Aperol
1 lemon wedge
1 orange wheel
1.5 ounces of soda water
Sparkling wine to top
Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, vodka, Aperol and citrus in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. With a medium/heavy shake, shake ingredients. After shaking add soda water to shaker and pour contents including ice into a large wine glass. Top the glass off with sparkling wine and enjoy.
